Technical and Sales Support Specialist
Description: You will perform pre and post-sales application support for Viewpath prospects and customers. Pre-sales activities include conducting online demos with individual prospects, setting up free trial accounts and helping to create industry-specific "templates". Post-sales activities include coordinating customer implementations and follow-up, compiling "FAQs", and capturing "product success stories". The work will primarily be done in the office via telephone and e-mail. Occasional in-person meetings are also expected.
Qualifications: You have been successfully supporting software application products targeted at business users for at least 3 years. You also have experience converting prospects to customers during product trials and expanding the user base within customer accounts. You love working with people, you have strong verbal and written communication skills, and you are comfortable talking to middle managers in different work environments. You are also comfortable working with MS Office applications (including Outlook and IE). The ideal candidate will also have some experience coordinating multi-person projects and/or using project management tools such as MS Project. Furthermore, you must be an organized, self-starter, capable of managing multiple tasks and having fun on the job!
Viewpath .Net Developer
Responsibilities: Focused on participating in all aspects of full life-cycle development of Viewpath .Net product. The Viewpath product is a powerful, browser-based application that assists people in managing their productivity. This application leverages Microsoft's .NET initiative and Viewpath's XML web services platform.
Full Life Cycle implementation, which includes:
- System Designs, Technical Designs, Coding, Unit Testing, System Testing, Data Conversions, System Interfaces, Installation and Upgrades and Report Development.
- Develop successful peer level relationships across the project.
- Provide timely status reports on Progress/Plans/Issues to the senior management team.
Qualifications include:
- Successful candidates will have a minimum of 6 years of application development experience with at least 3 years experience developing ASP.Net web applications with an object oriented language, preferably VB.Net or C#.
- Experience developing web applications in the Microsoft environment utilizing Visual Studio toolkit.
- Strong XML and SQL 2005 skills.
- Strong HTML, CSS, JavaScript skills, and AJAX skills desired.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- A results-orientated attitude, strong verbal and written communication skills.
